Antenna Assembler II

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience needed. Troubleshooting and soldering experience required (following blueprints or assembly specifications, soldering, gluing, combine or fabricate). Knowledge of antenna testing equipment preferred. Experience with a variety of current manufacturing processes preferred. Ability to work with employees at all levels. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to handle multiple tasks with ease and professionalism. Desirable experience in an engineering development organization. Fast, self-directed learner. US citizenship and ability to qualify for a US government security clearance

Job Purpose:

Assists and works closely with Fabrication Manager and quality personnel. Maintain and follow proper compliance and quality systems requirements. Work safely and perform quality work. Assemble and inspect both visually and functionality of product or product parts.

Essential Functions:

• Quality Control is an important part of a general assembler’s job.  As items come through the production line, they need to be checked before being assembled with other pieces.
• Performs simple, short-cycle assembly of light materials and parts, including routine assembly and modification.
• Operations are typically highly repetitive straight-line bench work.  Works from noncomplex drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, sketches, and running sheets, performs initial and basic writing and assembly operations on chassis, panels and assemblies, to complete prototype and productions units.
• Works to close tolerances.
• Uses judgment in reworking or rewiring as necessary to meet quality specifications.  • Refers complex or non-routine reworking or rewiring to supervisor or lead assembler. Troubleshoots production if necessary.
• Responsible for quality control.
• Makes adjustments a necessary to produce product within specifications.
• Rejects product outside of specifications.
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Completes daily production logs.
• Performs preventive maintenance (PMs) when necessary.
• Communicates with operators from other shifts.
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.  Other duties as assigned.
• Maintains clean work area.

Inventory Specialist

Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 1 to 3 years’ experience in materials (receiving, material handler, shipping). Must have strong communication and people skills. Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel with some Quick Books experience and prior experience with a MRP system. Must be able to handle a structured work environment. Must be self-motivated and have a can-do attitude.

Job Purpose:

An inventory specialist helps oversee inventory control by keeping track of all products and supplies as well as comparing actual inventory to records. Proficiency in the use of inventory software, detailed knowledge of the range of a company’s products, and a strong attention to detail. Maintains records of all inventory, produces inventory reports for managers on a regular basis, and keeps all stock organized and replenished as necessary.

Essential Functions:

• Checking in material received and moving material
• Use various types of material handling equipment
• Maintain proper inventory count and perform cycle counts
• Use computer to perform inventory transactions
• Pull material for manufacturing and assembly orders
• Work with supervisors, schedulers and other personnel as needed
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
• Counts all products and supplies for kitting purposes
• Packs up defective items for return, creates shipping labels, and mails items.
• Adjusts inventory reports to account for new deliveries
• Ensures that all stock on the floor is organized, properly stored, and in good condition.
