Antenna Assembler II

Job Purpose:

Assists and works closely with Fabrication Manager and quality personnel. Maintain and follow proper compliance and quality systems requirements. Work safely and perform quality work. Assemble and inspect both visually and functionality of product or product parts.

Essential Functions:

  • Quality Control is an important part of a general assembler’s job.  As items come through the production line, they need to be checked before being assembled with other pieces
  • Perform simple, short-cycle assembly of light materials and parts, including routine assembly and modification
  • Operations are typically highly repetitive straight-line bench work.  Works from noncomplex drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, sketches, and running sheets, performs initial and basic writing and assembly operations on chassis, panels and assemblies, to complete prototype and productions units.
  • Work to close tolerances
  • Use judgment in reworking or rewiring as necessary to meet quality specifications.  • Refers complex or non-routine reworking or rewiring to supervisor or lead assembler
  • Troubleshoot production if necessary
  • Be responsible for quality control
  • Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications
  • Reject product outside of specifications
  • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Complete daily production logs
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) when necessary
  • Communicate with operators from other shifts
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
  • Maintains clean work area
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US citizenship and ability to qualify for a US government security clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Soldering and troubleshooting experience (following blueprints or assembly specifications, soldering, gluing, combine or fabricate)
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels
  • Proven track record of being highly organized, efficient, and able to handle multiple tasks with ease and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of antenna testing equipment
  • Experience with a variety of current manufacturing processes
  • Experience in an engineering development organization

Marketing Executive

Job Purpose:

JEM’s Marketing Executive will drive innovation and growth through marketing, branding, and trade shows using creative mechanisms. Our strategist will assist in all aspects of the marketing department operations, including support, development and distribution of marketing and sales materials. This candidate should possess strong proper grammar usage, proof reading abilities, be detail and deadline oriented, and a team player, along with being creative and pro-active.

Essential Functions:

As Marketing Executive this individual will provide support to the business development  department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the implementation of marketing programs through magazine advertising, direct mail, trade shows, sales manuals, website, etc.
  • Proofreading all marketing material
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Handle requests for samples and literature
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete on a timely basis
  • Communicate effectively with staff and external support vendors
  • Assist in the management and update of website
  • Organize marketing materials and information for marketing meetings
  • Assist with development of product catalog

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing or equivalent experience with a minimum of 2 years exeperience
  • Strong proofreading, grammar, and copywriting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong appreciation of the importance completing tasks on deadline
  • Professional level of organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of graphics and printing programs and print media operations
  • Knowledge in any of the following: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat
